We’re excited to announce that the latest version of Stork 26.4.0 is now generally available (GA). This release includes new capabilities and fixes driven by key customer requests and is compatible with Pure Storage FlashArray and FlashBlade.
Key Highlights
- Workload Identity Federation for Async DR: Use storkctl to enable workload identity federation for backup-location access, reducing reliance on long-lived credentials in supported cloud environments.
- CSI VolumeSnapshot support for VolumeSnapshotSchedules: VolumeSnapshotSchedules for PVCs provisioned by the Portworx CSI driver (pxd.portworx.com) now automatically use CSI VolumeSnapshots (snapshot.storage.k8s.io/v1) instead of the legacy external-storage VolumeSnapshot API.
- DR failover and failback granularity: Select specific resources, applications or virtual machines from a migration when performing failover or failback, reducing the need to move all resources in an entire migration/namespace.
