Portworx Backup 2.10.1 is now GA

Hello Everyone,

We are excited to announce that Portworx Backup 2.10.1 is now Generally Available!
This incremental release focuses on providing better observability, usability and operational bug-fixes.

Key features

  1. Enhanced Prometheus metrics for backup operations: The metrics endpoint now exposes richer, backup-focused operational metrics that you can feed into external monitoring tools for improved dashboards, alerting, and troubleshooting.

  2. In-place label selector edits for backup schedules: You can now modify resource, namespace, or VM label selectors on existing backup schedules without deleting and recreating them. This makes it easier and safer to evolve what’s being protected as your clusters change.

  3. Reliable upgrades for customized Keycloak PostgreSQL usernames: Fix in place now, to allow for pre-upgrade validation on Keycloak PostgreSQL usernames, preventing blocked upgrades in environments where the default username was changed.

These are just the highlights; greater details and context for these changes in the 2.10.1 release notes linked below.
