Portworx CSI 25.8.1 is now Generally Available. PX CSI 25.8.1 carries two new exciting features as described below:
PX-CSI now supports volume snapshots of type clone for FlashArray. This feature allows for one to clone PVs by leveraging array snapshotting technology and retains the cloned PV even when the original PV has been deleted.
Volume deletion does not automatically eradicate volume on the backing FlashArray or FlashBlade. This allows customers to restore from the snapshot on the backing FlashArray in case of accidental deletion.
